FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: My partner and I are awkward in pictures, will you help pose us?

A: Almost everyone thinks they are awkward in front of the camera - don't worry, you will look great! I will give the two of you different tasks that will create movement and emotion. You will feel way more comfortable in front of the camera after your engagement session!

Q: I would like you to shoot my wedding, how do I start the process?
A: First, please contact me with your wedding date, venue, and any other details about your wedding! I will then send you my pricing information and we will schedule a consultation. Consultations can be scheduled in-person, over a phone call, or via video chat. This meeting will help answer any questions you may have and help us get to know each other! 

 

Q: What is required to book you as our photographer?
A: A signed contract and a retainer fee of $900.

 

Q: What payments do you accept, and when are they due?
A: Cash or check are preferred. I do accept credit card payments, however, you will be charged an additional 3.5% processing fee. The 30% retainer fee is due after signing the contract and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding day.

 

Q: Do you travel for weddings?
A: Of course! I absolutely love to travel, and shooting at a new locations is so much fun! Contact me for a custom quote. 

 

Q: Do you shoot film or digital photography?
A: I shoot both digital and film photography - there are huge benefits to both! Film photography has a soft and romantic aesthetic which is perfect for portraits. Digital photography is great for candid moments and dancing photos! 

Q: Do I get the high-res photos and the rights to print?
A: Yes! Each wedding collection includes an online gallery where you can download all of your images in high resolution. I highly recommend you order prints through your gallery or use a professional printing lab because stores like Walgreens or Walmart will ruin the quality and color of your images.

 

Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes! I can provide the paperwork to your venue if they need it.

 

Q: Are we allowed to share our photos on social media?
A: I love when my clients share their images on social media! All I ask is that you do not crop, edit, or use any filters on the photos and always credit Brittany Clark Photography.

Q: How long does it take you to deliver a wedding?
A: Wedding images will be delivered via an online gallery no more than 6-8 weeks after the wedding.

 

Q: How many images will I receive?
A: I am a firm believer in quality over quantity. I typically deliver approximately 50-100 edited images per hour of photography coverage.

 

Q: What cameras do you shoot with?
A: I shoot with Canon cameras & professional grade lenses. I also use a Contax 645 medium format film camera and a 35mm Contax N1.
